For the first time in 2020, MCDOT is joining as a major public agency partner. ADOT has always led the effort on this event, and the partners of City of Phoenix Streets, City of Phoenix Transit, Sky Harbor, and Valley Metro have long been active participants and financial supporters. 2020 marks the first year MCDOT has joined the planning team.
What does this mean?
The event has always been open to additional public agencies to host an exhibit table (at no charge) because that makes for a better event for the attendees.
To have another significant public owner join on as a partner adds to the value of the event for the attendees. The Expo has continued to grow in attendance and prominence, gaining a reputation for high quality programming and outstanding networking opportunities.
The addition of MCDOT to the lineup further advances that.
Stage Programming to Include some Fun!
In the last committee meeting an initial discussion of stage programming was discussed. Sticking to the event theme of upcoming business opportunities, the committee decided to add a little bit of fun. We’re planning to incorporate a game show segment as a small part of the stage programming at the Expo. We don’t quite have all the details figured out, but definitely stay tuned. There might even be some cool prizes for audience members!
